Logan Circle is a hip and inclusive neighborhood that has something for everyone. The streets are lined with gorgeous historic architecture. Many buildings were constructed over 100 years ago and have been restored and maintained to preserve their pristine condition.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

When you are at Logan Circle, it's almost impossible to feel bored. If you walk down 14th Street, you will see an endless number of shops, bars, and five-star restaurants.



One of the most popular restaurants on 14th Street is Le Diplomate. This popular restaurant looks like an authentic Parisian brasserie and serves up decadent French cuisines such as Lobster Risotto, Onion Soup Grantinée, and Vanilla Bean Créme Brúlée. 


Nearby is another Parisian restaurant — Bresca, a Michelin star bistro with a unique dinner menu. The chef-owner, Ryan Ratino, allows guests to choose between three-course and four-course meals that are inspired by some of the finest European recipes. Chef Ratino also owns another elegant restaurant called Jont. This restaurant takes fine dining to a whole new level and allows diners to experience some of the most decadent Japanese-influenced dishes, as well as a wide assortment of high-quality wines.



After you have enjoyed the best restaurants in the area, you can continue to stroll down 14th street to check out the various shops this neighborhood offers. If you want to give your home a new look, you will definitely want to check out the hip and chic furniture store called Room and Board. Inside the store, you can find contemporary-style furniture that can add a splash of elegance to any room of your home. West Elm is another upscale furniture store. They not only have a wide selection of unique furniture but also offer design appointments where you can schedule a one-on-one design session with an interior decorator. Design appointments can be conducted at the store, at home, or virtually. 


Things to Do

There are plenty of activities in Logan Circle. If you are a fan of the theater, you should check out the iconic Studio Theatre. This theater has been around since the 1970s and offers a variety of plays to watch. Also located on 14th street is a fun and lively nightclub called the Black Cat. The club features live music from heavy metal and hard rock bands. 


Logan Circle is an exceptionally walkable neighborhood. When the weather is nice, many people love to stroll in the eight-block area and look at the stunning historical architecture. Many of the buildings and homes in this area were built in the late 19th century and feature Late Victorian-styled architecture. You can also walk to the Actual Logan Circle. This is the only residential traffic circle in D.C. Residents enjoy taking a stroll around the circle, picnicking inside the circle, and viewing the beautiful flowers and foliage around the area.


Logan Circle is an inclusive neighborhood that welcomes people of all communities. In fact, during Gay Pride Month, there is a festive and fun Gay Pride Parade that stretches down 14th stretches into Dupont Circle and Shaw.
