Born in London, UK, Dudley's early years were a canvas of imagination and creativity. As a child, he was captivated by design, spending hours creating elaborate floor plans for his dream house, dedicating a full piece of paper to each floor. This early passion unknowingly set the groundwork for his future career. His time in the UK, including a stint at boarding school, cultivated a sense of maturity, independence, and drive in him. Coming out as gay at fourteen brought its challenges, but Dudley navigated these with strength and perseverance.

The American Dream A Journey of Service

At sixteen, Dudley relocated to Southern California, where he quickly adapted to the vibrant American lifestyle. After completing high school, he embarked on a journey of service, joining the US Marine Corps. This decision was driven by a deep sense of patriotism and a desire to earn his place in his beloved new country. Serving as an infantry mortarman from 2005 to 2009, including two tours in Iraq, he experienced life at its most intense. Following his military service, Dudley pursued a childhood dream of law enforcement, becoming a San Diego Police Officer. Enjoying the role yet yearning for more, he joined the US Secret Service in 2015. This career phase was highlighted by his achievement of becoming a Secret Service rescue swimmer, a demanding yet rewarding milestone. These chapters, filled with action and purpose, eventually led him to a new adventure in real estate.

Hear and Home Building a Life in DC

Dudley met his now-husband, Christian, in 2013 in San Diego, and they tied the knot in 2014. Their journey has been one of mutual support and shared successes. His husband's successful career transition from the Navy to culinary arts, saw him pursue restaurant management. He is now the General Manager of the Bazaar DC by José Andrés at the Waldorf Astoria Washington DC. The couple, along with their dog Conan, live in DC’s Logan Circle neighborhood.

Passions and Pursuits More than just Hobbies

Outside his professional life, Dudley's interests are diverse and enriching. An avid movie enthusiast, he enjoys the escapism and storytelling that cinema offers. Scuba diving is another of his passions, inspired by his experiences as a rescue swimmer and the breathtaking underwater landscapes of Hawaii. Swimming offers him a tranquil refuge, helping to relax and clear his mind. His love for food, influenced by his husband's background in culinary arts, leads them to frequently explore DC's dynamic restaurant scene. Additionally, they share a passion for home remodeling and interior design, an interest that aligns with their aspiration to eventually start their own interior design and staging company.
